Apple IPad OS upgrade IOS11 cannot print to Canon IRADVC5051

Got a call from a customer who prints to their Canon IRADVC5051 with IPADS. Worked just

fine until Apple came out with an updated OS. The IPADS they have that still have IOS10 print

fine. The ones that upgraded to IOS11 no longer print. I did some searching online and this seems

to be a big problem. I tried a couple things that people said they did to fix the problem. I updated

the copier system software and made sure that IPV6 was disabled. Any other suggestions?

i am running os ver 11.1 on iPhone 6+ using canon business print app to a IRA-c5051 no issues printing,, there was a update to the app

Make sure they get the latest version, if the have not already.

11.1.1 came out just a week or so ago, and 11.2.x is in beta and due out soon.

Apple messed up a few things with 11; and there have been numerous updates already.

I agree, though. If there is an app available, it will almost undoubtedly work better than native iOS will, and most apps will have more features to choose from.
