[Misc] Canon ir adv 250 DF no feed

I have a Canon iradv 250 df issue.The df is the same dfvas on the 1325 range.If you put a document in df the sensor detects paper but when you press for copy theres no drive to gears to perform paper pick up.The signal for drive motor comes straight from main controller.
Any one had same issue

This may be overly simple...but try raising and lowering the document feeder once, and THEN set your document in the feeder and press start. I've seen some of them thinking there's still a paper on the glass, and that'll do what you're describing.

We had one that would jam double sided every time. We replaced the feed unit to fix. Never did find out what caused it. There are only two sensors in it. Easy to take entire feed unit out.
