[Error Code] Canon irc3080 e067 firmware

Can anybody send me the controller firmware 66.02 to see if this will resolve the error message before I try the itb

I'm not a canon dealer, so I don't have access to their tech portal, I would be happy to exchange firmware for any Ricoh, kyocera/copystar, Toshiba, I also have some Xerox

If you google/research that problem, there is also a couple of Canon Tech bulletins concerning that.

Complete error is e067-0102

I haven't been onsite yet as customer wants a quote for repairs first.

I saw a post pin this forum that said upgrading dcon to 66.02 turns that error into an alert too save from having to replaced itb

How Old are DRUMS ????

1. Check to see if the primary transfer roller spring is deformed or detached.

2. Clean the point of contact of the primary transfer roller.

3. Make the following selections in sequence [Service mode > COPIER > Display > MISC > DRM-LIFE] to check the setting value; if the value is around '100', suspect that the drum almost reaches the end of life, and replace the drum unit with a new one.

If your ITB is old > no firmware will help > this ITB UNIT is easy change.
Replace the entire ITB Assembly which contains the Primary Transfer Rollers

If an E067-0102 is indicated, it has been found that the coupling within the Drum Drive has compressed.

(See illustration #2 below)



Remove the e-ring and correct the spring tension as in illustration #3.
