Canon iR ADV 500i - Print/copy problem

    [Misc] Canon iR ADV 500i - Print/copy problem

    Dear friends:

    I have a problem with a Canon iR ADV500i. As you can see when I print the counter report it is not complete Bad.pdf. The normal printing is like this Bad.pdfGood.pdf.

    I have with LTRr and A4 size. It happends when I print or copy from the casette and the manual tray. But when I customize the size is OK.

    What I have done:

    - Clean the pre-registration and registration sensors.
    - Check and clean all the sensor located in the recollection unit.
    - Part-CHK is all OK.

    Do you have any idea about this problem?

      If you are talking about lead edge registration issue where the image shifts it is the registration clutch. I have had this issue twice. New clutch fixes it and easy to get to. Make sure the sensor in the registration unit is clean. Do not remember on that model if there is one on the right door also. The part number to the registration clutch CL1 is part number, FK2-9154-000, CLUTCH.

          Thank you, I will try replacing the clutch.

              Same clutch that is used on the 4000 series, and it does the same thing on that model.
