    Canon ir3220 help

I just have a service call on irc3220, its got a background problem. Normally it's should be easy problem. But its turn out a long day for me. Hope your can help me with this problem.

Well, the print out is fine, text is sharp & solid black, there are some pictures on the design and is look good, the only problem is the background color. Let say the background color should be solid green color. But the print out is random missing green background color. I can see is white strip from 1/8" to 1/4" randomly cross the whole paper (side to side). The paper size is 11X17.

What I did was open the front door when is happen like that and after clear all jam paper, close the door then it running good for about 150 click and it start same thing again. If I open the door again then it will run good for another 150 click.

Second try is I took the belt off and clean all the roller then put it back. This time is good for about 250 click then same thing over again.

Change new drum and cleaning blade is not helping at all. So, what am I missing? Please help.

Yes, I did change itb cleaning blade. But after all I was thinking may be not a mechanical (hardware). Because, they were printing about more than a thoudsand copies and just about 150 - 200 then it start to show up that problem. Then I stop it by open the front door and ofcouse it will error as jam paper. After I pull out all jam paper in the machine, close the door then it run good for about 150 more.

Actually I did. Turn it off/on twice. first I turn it off/on and the result is about same as open the front door. it act like reset and it run about 150 copies. Second I turn off and remove itb. Every time I turn off/on, open the front door then it run good for awhile. It's drive me crazy

Sounds like a shutter issue to me.
I had one do something very similar the other week.
                    Open the front door.
Check the cover that holds the machine log books as the is where the actuator for the shutter is.
It's usually associated with an error code but this wouldn't be the first time I've seen an issue not throw up an error.

Is it printing and copying? Is it just the background or everything on that line? All 4 colors? Maybe a poor connection.
