the machine thinks there is a cover open... maybe the cover tab is broken or out of place.. could also be a switch gone south

I think on that one there is an interlock switch on the left door you pull out to change drum. Seems I had to adjust it many years ago. The arms/rails push down on the switch when it closes. Also think you can get that message on lower left door interlock. It never tells you which one. You have to make sure both interlock switches are closed, can not remember if there is one on the front door also.
