E020 0081 error code. Not listed in the book.

        Solution :

The patch sensor reading is not correct when a sub code of 0081 is seen.
The sub code is not listed in the manual. The shutter for the patch sensor may not be moving correctly when the doors are closed.
Check the patch sensor shutter is actuating when the door is closed.

The sensor can be checked using, LEVEL 2 SERVICE MODE>COPIER>DISPLAY>DENS>P LED DA is 3F or lower.

        Example
The machine coding out was 63 and the lab machine was 20.
A normal setting is 3F or lower.
After removing the patch shutter , inspecting it and reinstalling the shutter, the E020 0081 error code was resolved.
The shutter was knocked out of place and caused the error code.

The shutter assy is part of the SENSOR UNIT,REGISTRATION PATCH Part number = FM3-5944-000

          To add,

Error code E020 with a sub code of 0081 is occurring. The code refers to an error in the ITB background light intensity.

          Solution :

The Remedy described in the Service manual is as follows:
This error tends to occur when the Patch Sensor window is not opened sufficiency due to damage on the Patch Detection Shutter.
Especially, when LV.2 > DISPLAY > DENS > P-LED-DA is 3F, check if the Patch Detection Shutter is damaged or the Patch Sensor window is soiled.
          1. Check the installation of the Patch Detection Shutter.
          2. Clean the Patch Sensor window.
          3. Check the disconnection of the Patch Sensor (UN47, UN48, UN49).
          4. Check the installation of the ITB Unit.
          5. Replace the Patch Sensor.

In this case, it was found that the front portion had snapped off item 3, Shutter Protect. The Part Number is FC8-4540-000. The Shutter is displayed below in figure 323.

ITB base light intensity lower limit error. When executing ITB base correction, the average value of P wave light intensity detected/calculated is less than 300

Merci Beaucoup! Effectivement l'obturateur etait detache du solenoid, du coup ca laissait partiellement ouvert les capteurs, je l'ai racommode, a ce jour tout fonctionne a merveille

              -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you very much! Actually the shutter was detached from the solenoid, suddenly it left partially open the sensors, I recompose it, so far everything works wonderfully
