Canon Imagerunner 2200 Error Message E000202-001

I am getting an error message E000202-001 on my Canon Imagerunner 2200 copier. Can you please help me resolve this error.

Hello,

This is an error with the home position sensor of the scan lamp and unless you are a trained Canon tech I would recommend you DON'T touch any thing under the scan glass as there are a lot of components carrying high voltages in there.

Time to make a call to your service provider me thinks.

1. You have to check lens home position sensor
2. Xenon lamp
3. DC component
