    c3330

    Scanner Unit
Original exposure and scanning are performed by the integrated scanner unit of LED, turndown mirror, free curved mirror, and
    Reading sensor.

Light emitted from LED is reflected by the original and reaches the Reading Sensor through the Reflection Mirror and the newly
    developed Lens Unit.

Be sure to double check the optics DF slit glass with a torch as it's easy to miss a small black dirt mark.
Try to line up the copied output with the line onto the platen glass to give you some idea where to look.

Those newer type short lens ass'y arrays can get internally contaminated with paper dust just like most other optics.

There should be a screw at the front and rear of the top lid of the unit and a tiny LED lamp connector.
Normally I just carefully hold the lid off to one side with the connector still attached and get in there with manual air blower.

I wouldn't recommend touching the small mirrors unless you absolutely have to though as it's difficult to get them perfectly clean once you do.
But some times they are clouded up with thin layer of dirt so you have little choice.

A lint free cloth and bit of alcohol normal does the trick in such cases.
