    Wierd Problems On New Canon IR Advance C5550i and C3525i

    I just installed these 2 new Canon copiers the other day. Customer uses Department ID and explained some weird problems they were having while trying to setup. I went out yesterday and the listed problems below is what im experiencing. All firmware updates have been performed and whats weird is its the same on both machines. Has anybody else had these problems. Thanks in advance.

    When using RUI web connection logged in as administrator if i click on settings it gives you a "restricted from displaying this page" screen. If i go to the machine through service mode and do a password clr web portal then allows access to settings immediately even without having to log out and log back in. After letting it sit for 5 minutes logged in it automatically goes back to restricting access. Thinking maybe the administrator user setup may have a glitch i setup another user with administrative rights and the same thing happens.

    If i try to turn on department id on through rui or make any changes when i click on apply changes it tells me there are no changes to set. If i click on ok it never changes settings.

    If i go to machine it allows me to turn on department id system but login screen never comes up only main screen. If i press the id button on machine nothing happens even when system is activated.

    It's not completely straight forward on the Gen3's, you need to do a couple of things first.
