hi.... I have two canon ir adv 8095 that, them have this problem. on copies , prints , local print and any type of prints papers have small black lines even 1 cm on bottom of page.. I changed corona wires , primary charging assembly , developer unit , drum , transfer unit (kit) ,fixing unit .. but still yet.when I changed the po sensor set to off it seem that this lines get lighter but still yet..i cant solve this problem. i Thought that device charge is very high.. please help me .Untitlemjd.jpg

What about laser unit? (cleaning).Dust proof glass?
Check DPOT values.

dpot value : 120>>240 in printing
i cleaned the glass.
but my copies is darker ... can I light this ?

Does the line move, or in same place all the time. ?

yes it moves ..its not have special shapes

try sending a few consecutive blank prints to print out-----------post a couple with this line moving

I have two of these machines at a shop where the guy only runs 11x17 duplex copies one day a week for about 7-8 hours.

Seems like dust is making onto the polygon mirrors and then settling on the edge of each facet.

I have to go clean it about once every month or so - there is probably a counter measure for this, but I haven't bothered to call Canon about it yet.

Lasers are easy to get out on this thing, so I would definitely try that first, even if you just look at it.

Just like 5030...polygon facet gets dirty. With this machine though, laser writes white so its not discharging drum totally. Clean as suggested

you might want to check corona, you there are two unit with coronas one side could be really dirty upper and lower coronas. sometime cleaning them wont help either they degrade over time, unless you changed the assembly, make sure you check BOTH coronas.

laser lens will make a white void.
