    C7010VP System Manager Login

Ran into a C7010VP that wants the login for system manager, but I can't recall and can't find the default login in any of my materials. Anybody know the default, or if there is a way to bypass/reset it? Just trying to do the image position adjustment to move the registration a couple millimeters, but this is stopping me :/ Thank you for any help.

Sorry, but the password is there for that reason.
An authorized Canon tech will know what to do in this case. This machine requires not only a Canon repairer but trained for this model.

      Re: C7010VP System Manager Login

I am trained to repair this model (and have been for five years on this model, and for ten on our half dozen black and white Canon machines), and have the parts and service catalogs that don't list the default password. Frustrating that Canon would put something so elementary as a registration adjustment under a password protected menu. The password also is not on all the machines, as my other 7010 does not have a system manager password. Both of them have had the software completely reloaded on them before, so I guess the password must be stored on the ram on one of the boards and not on the hard drives.
