Ok, so maybe not the P-Kit :/ The black developing unit was disengaged, but it somehow still passed the color registration adjustment. When I re-engage the dev unit black is still trailing more than it should. I swapped drums and drum assemblies, dev ay's with the p-kit, no change. Maybe something in control after all, going to keep poking.

On all single color PG5's, your blank non-image (paper feed/sub-scan) lead and trail edge do not show a skew,

and the blank edge registration shows a skew on all PG5's in cross-feed (front to back) (main scan)

Magenta is the reference > if its out it will cause other lasers to follow.
Magentais the initial laser for slope adjustment.

Skew motor maybe faulty on the laser unit.--- May have to re position.

What does PG 6 look like in the grid pattern ???

Did u Check the image on the ITB belt

        Re: C7010 Registration/PCB 1-1 Memory

I did check the image on the ITB, I'm getting misregistered colors. I'm looking at the skew again as a sheet registration problem, I think the skew on the sheet is probably the registration rollers, which I'm waiting to come in. I was a bit distracted by the skew, but my real problem is color registration.

The black is registering off of the trail edge of the sheet, offset from the other colors by 3mm. If I only lay down CMY they register with each other fine. If I disengage the K developer unit, the machine passes the at-img-x; if the K unit is engaged it fails it. I've switched everything in the P-Kit as well (including the kit assembly), no change. I have a whole spare machine to try boards and such off of, so I'm going to run backwards from the writer (which I did try switching) and check out some boards to see if I can sort it out.

It wound up being the PCB 1-1 or 1-2, not sure which. I had a spare PCB 1-3 that I had tried before that didn't work, but I was able to take the whole PCB assembly from a recently acquired parts machine and the black registration issue resolved. The skew is most likely the registration of the paper, which I'm still waiting for a couple bearings to come in. Thanks again for the help, sorry I was back and forth and kind of confusing some times.
