    C1022i now has 'insert xxxx toner correctly' for all four toners

    After reinstalling firmware and reseating the DIMM, my previously great (but now problematic) C1022i now has a message to 'insert cyan toner correctly' (and also for MYK)

    I changed the black cartridge with a new oem black cartridge to see if that would help, but it didn't. Reseating cartridges, removing paper from the drawer, and multiple reboots haven't cleared it.

    Thoughts, anyone?

    When the toner cartridge is present, the load applied to the drum motor increases, which shortens the stop time.
    The DC controller detects the presence/absence of the toner cartridge based on the stop time of the drum motors (M6 to 9) after the initial drive of the drum motors when the power is turned ON or the front cover is closed.
    When it is determined that the toner cartridge is absent, the DC controller stops the machine's operation and displays "No toner cartridge" on the control panel
    When closing the front door, the Black drum driving system doesn't engage. You may have to replace the following part:RC1-6643-020 LEVER, LOCK SLIDE, RIGHT.

      I have had this problem and had to replace the drum drive unit to resolve the issue.
