Canon IR Adv 5030i suddenly stop responding with ip.

Hi guys,

We have a customer that suddenly their canon ir adv 5030i suddenly stop getting print print job and scan to folder not working. I tried to do some basic networking things like pinging.. making machine dhcp... Getting into web ui... But to no avail. When you connect the lan cable to machine and router both are have lights. But the ip of the machine is not configuring. Just want to ask your insight and i just want to confirm if its really the board have the problem. Before its working good. Just so sudden.

I would consider a MMI clear, I have had many odd issues like this, a MMI clear may fix this after rebooting and inputting network settings.

Have you tried booting the machine with 1&7 key pressed ? It should get a fixed IP adress 172.16.1.100
You could then give your laptop IP 172.16.1.1, connect it 1-on-1 with the canon and see if you can ping the machine then...

If that works the networkcard is alright...
