Canon IR2800 Not printing from computer

hi there,

i got Canon IR2800 and it working perfect as a copier.

it have parallel port to conect to computer as a printer, i try to conect it and the windos xp found a new hard ware & didden't fround the drivers so i download the drivers from canon website it was installed good with no problem...

now is the problem.... when i sending a print it dosen't print nothing.... it showing Reciving data from the computer and in the log of the IR2800 it showing status ok the this " Job"....

Why why Why is not actual print????

i " harvest google" like never befor the only lead that it got is somthing to do with missing file in the machine or somting like that that canon forgot to add to the machine.... how i Enabled the printing from the computer....?

copier needs to install the print kit to use as a printer, you need boot rom "N" version and nic card.

the paralell port you are refering to is a port for your tech to use for upgradeing firmware it is NOT a printing port
