What model is the machine?
Does it happen when printing or when using the reader?

Not a colored line?
It's either the fuser...or an issue with the itb assembly.
If you're a customer rather than a tech...it's time to fork out and have a tech look at the machine.
I KNOW it means you'll actually have to pay around $150 for the service call...but you need a tech to look at the machine to confirm the part causing the issue.
A tech will do a series of single color shots to test each of the drums...iRC3200 drums have had issues recently where a waxy build up leaves a light band through images.
Also...the tech will check the jam history to see if there's any jam codes associated with the issue....cassette rollers will cause retry jams...fuser will cause stationary jams.
I understand that you are not a tech...but we're not getting enough info to help you...time to book a service call.Comment
