Not sure about this code. Last week I installed a used cyan drum and got this code.
Put the old one back and it went away. Same thing with the magenta drum.
I originally went to change these two drums because of wear lines on the drum were
leaving thin lines through the green areas on the customers prints.
This week it came up with the code all on its own. I know the drums are close to
end of life. And I read in the book that this may be the problem.
But I wanted to hear from this board before throwing money at it.
My gut feel is the magenta or cyan drum. But the code does not define a color.
Here's what the book sez:
E-00067-
0101 The first detected current of primary transfer ATVC is the threshold or more.
The counter measure:
Check on the primary transfer roller spring, Clean the
position where the primary transfer roller contacts,
Replace the primary transfer roller, Replace the drum
unit
Check a value of COPIER> DISPLAY> MISC>
DRM-LIFE, and replace the drum unit if the value is
near 100 because the drum may have reached its life expectancy.
The black drum was just replaced and the yellow while at 123% like the others looks good.
The transfer belt was also just replaced a couple of months ago with the black drum.
This is the machine that was making noise from the transfer belt until I used the recommended
powder on the blade.
Thanks
