Canon ImagePass B2 Install

Hello,

I am trying to use a ImagePass B2 to a C5255. My ImageRunner C5255 has already installed the AR1 kits PCL and PS. Do I need to remove them in order to use the B2 ? My ImagePass B2, keeps restarting and I got it from a friend that had it in working condition. If so, how do I uninstall the AR1 Kits

No you dont need to uninstall them but you need to set that an external controller is connected under options-img cnt in service mode. Should be set to 3

Thank you ! It seems I am doing something wrong. Is there any sequence in connecting the cables and doing the reboots for the printer and the fiery ?

It seems it doesnt recognize the fiery.

I believe you should set the value to 3 without the server connected. Turn the m/c off, connect the server and then boot it up starting with the server.
Not sure if it has to be in that order but it works for me
