Canon IR Adv c5045i and c5051i

    Morning guys,

Im having trouble with this 2 machine in copy and in print.

1/4 of the page have less color on it if printing and copying full page.

The top one is the original and the bottom one is the copy. Both machines is doing like this.

Done cleaning the inside unit via simulation. And tried the auto gradation quick one and full one which have good outcome. Tried auto color mismatch also but to no avail still same outcome.

    Anyone have encounter tis?

Hoping for your good inputs on this.

    Thank you.

Are"both"machines doing the same thing? Had you changed some parts, or did some maintenance on them that was the same? That could indicate areas to look.

Also, is your samples posted here copies?

The original doesn't look perfect. Copies of copies can accentuate a defect.

Can you run single color passes in each color with a actual test pattern and see if the problem is the same in all colors, or not?

Confirm if the defect is the same or not when printing and copying.

If you can use some pastel colored paper, and run single color copies in each of the 4 colours, using the same color as the paper, that can also help isolate and identify a particular cause.

    Good luck, Jim

Run PG 5 test print for each color individually, at 55 density. Compare all of them, see what colors are not even and where. Try cleaning the lasers with a wand to see if that helps. You may need to take a look at dev units as sometimes they deplete on one side. Refer to above mentioned test prints to determine which dev(s) to look at. I have had to remove the process assembly and really clean the lasers a couple of times.

Try the above, that's should get you moving along with this at least. Post back let us know.

Total count page is only 120k already replaced drums and devs.. toner is original one.

Manual cleaning via toner vacuum, clothes, and wands.. sim cleaning as well.. gradiation like 2times quick and 3 times full.

No error.. cleaned scanning unit as well.. it comes either print or copy.. cleaned laser as well..
