    SST ERROR CODE 145 / Imagerunner C3200N

The hard drive of my C3200N broke, so I replaced it with a new one. But the problem is that when I try to reinstall the firmware of it using SST it's not registering all of the parts, as shown in the first screenshot below. (I tried to register all parts manually too)
    error.jpg

So when I try to install the firmware (after formatting the hard drive) it shows me a time out error (145), no matter if i use the ALL_N position or installing all parts manually (BOOT; DCON; G3FAX; HDFORMAT; etc.).
    error 2.jpg

    I'm using SST v 4.23E (I don't even know it if's a old version) and a Windows 8 Laptop with a crossover cable.

    From the v4.23Ep Manual....

Potential indicators of out-dated maintenance tables are as follows:
    1. A Run Time error can occur when using the ALL or ALL_HDF files.

Install the files individually..... The correct order should be in your service manual. Also make sure your HDD is one of the "Approved" ones. There were only just so many hard drives that worked in this machine.

....a C3200N?? I'm shocked to find out there's even one running out there!! FYI... the press roller bearings for that machine's fuser were ONLY for that model. When that fuser goes, it'll be D.O.A.... sorry.

U need to fully register the firmware using SST Program, check if all are registered.
        And not do it manually

Then HDD first needs to be formatted inside printer using 3200 format file, using single selection.

Where did u get this firmware from ?
Is this a Canon OEM HDD ?

I already tried to install the files inidividually as mentioned above. And the HDD is a approved one, I've bought it as a original spare part.

For formatting all partitions i'm using the secure download mode (2+8). For the rest I just look it up in the SST/the SM.

I tried to register the firmware manually. While registering it says that all files are registered but after trying to install the files it says that some files are not registered/missing (first screenshot).

And I formatted all partitions manually at first, after that I tried to install all parts of the firmware manually (by using the appropriate order in the service manual).

I have the firmware from the company I'm working for.
And yes, it's a approved HDD, got it as a original spare part.

Re: SST ERROR CODE 145 / Imagerunner C3200N

                Forget about formatting partitions.

U need to make sure all 3200 system files are registered.
Then u format the HDD using 3200 format file using SINGLE from menu.

                Have replaced hundereds of these 3200 \ 3220 HDD's.

                Note: Tip
Bad memory will prevent correct firmware install and formatting.

Hard lesson learned on this series.
