Tech has Canon ImageRunner Advance C5045 that when you turnon the power switch the fans for the main boards come on a run but nothing elsehappens. No motors come on, no fans, no display, Nothing.

Have replaced main controller 1, still no luck. Just fans on MC 1 and MC 2 running.

Tired Boot System Diagnosis, Turning on the Main Power Supply Switch while pressing the Control Panel Power Supply Switch, but when the machine does not try to boot this does not work either.
And tired the other diagnosis tool, it does not work either.

Try to boot with all doors open.
Maybe is Main PCB2
Before replacing the Main Controller PCB 2, upload SramImg.bin. By downloading
SramImg.bin after replacement, the new Main Controller PCB 2 inherits the data
including Service mode stored in the old PCBPractice makes perfect

When you replace Main controller 1 did you transfer the parts from old PCB to new PCB? Especially Flash PCB specifically responsible for the boot!Practice makes perfect

Put back the old parts...
If i remember correctly, it happened to one of our client.. what i do is reseat all the chips on mc 1 and mc 2. And after that reseat the connection on the rightside of the mc2 the big dirty white connectors.. near the fax socket. Then it works....
There is 2 on mc1 and 3 on mc2...

WTH ?I have used Canon Imagerunner parts for sale. Most are floor model Color and / Advances Imagerunner with some 3025 3235 parts. Several intact machines being parted.Comment
