IRA c5030 folding corners of lead edge of copies

I did search the forum and saw no specific fix or tech pub. It does this with single sided copies and with both 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 17. Of course they are using the cheap Costco paper. Thank you for any help

Usually the fuser is the culprit, usually..... Does the fold have any unfused toner on it? If so work from fuser and back downstream. If not it could be after the fuser. What finishing options if any are on the device. Inner finisher, stand alone finisher with a buffer pass? If the fuser is not the issue, you need to look at paper path. What is the last few jam codes? Sometime customers loose part of a sheet or a partial stuck label that catches the page a bit. Check those areas that have had recent jams. Many of the problems these devices have are not immediately identifiable, some sleuthing around is required.

Lead edge corners with no image in area. Has stand alone finisher. Seems to be happening between fuser and exit to bridge (between exit and finisher). thx

I did go visit the customer today. It did some of the corner folding but did more of stalling or partial crash. You could hear the paper struggle then come out wavy with some corner folding.

Did you check the fuser? What have you done or tried so far?
