[Error Code] Error Code E000025-0402 on a Canon 9075

Hi all, first things first I work at a small print shop and I'm not a copy technician so I'm definitely a layman as far as this issue is concerned. Our machine went down today with an E000025-0402 error code, and naturally our machine is out of service contract, so I'm kinda on my own in getting it fixed and back up. From poking around here and the internet I gather that the code is due to a faulty black hopper assembly, and that our particular machine is know for these issues (so much so that there's revised assemblies on the market).

Basically what I'm asking is if anyone could point me in the right direction as to how to fix the issue, or if theres any manuals that could shine some light on how to fish the old faulty part out and swap them out. I don't even know where the assembly is located, so I'm going into this cold (the joys of small business ownership...)

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

E025-0402 Is a black toner supply issue. There are websites where you can purchase a service manual, but I think it'd be smarter to hire a trained tech to repair it for you.... and in the long run, it'd probably be cheaper!!

That said.... the EASIEST check is make sure the black toner bottle is installed correctly. After that, you're getting into motor connections, rotational sensors and toner pipe... and I wouldn't recommend that to a layman.

Thanks for the reply. I definitely hear you that getting someone who knows what their doing is the way to go, sadly they don't make a step by step bentley manual for Canon printers lol. Before I track down a tech I'd like to try your recommendation and see if the toner is in correctly. I managed to pop the door open on the black toner but it feels like the toner bottle is locked in place, I've never had to swap toner bottles without them simply being empty and having the machine pop the doors open and release whatever lock is holding the bottles in place. Is there a way to override whatever toner lock is on when you pop the door manually? I really don't want to force anything and break something not already broken.
