    Hi All,

Please does anyone know if canon imagepress c6000 transfer belt with imprint dots, causing white dots on solid prints, can be fixed or It has to be replaced?
If it can be fixed, how? if not, where to get a secondhand or new one. Tnx

    ITB cleaning blade* FC6-4910
    Primary transfer roller* FC6-1545

        E110-0201

When the Magenta laser scanner motor does not
reach a certain speed within a specified
        period

        Remedy:

        1. Check if the connector at laser scanner unit is disconnected/
not securely inserted -> disconnect and then connect the
        connector
        - connector at the laser scanner unit
        - connector at the DC controller PCB 1-3 (UN240)
        2. Check if the harness between the laser scanner unit and DC
controller PCB 1-3 is disconnected/caught by a unit
        3. Replace the laser scanner unit
        4. Replace the DC controller PCB 1-3
        Practice makes perfect

Don't do that.Must remove hundred screws, disconnect 50 connectors and slide the toner unit.Only for trained tech.

My goodness! What do I do then? I've had a tech guy from canon come in twice and was not able to correct fix the errors that I've managed to fix myself with the help of you guys. We live in a country town and there are not any tech guys here. Is there some where I can disconnect and connect again. It's worth a try...it was working fine this afternoon.

first thing to do is get the Service Manual.... if you don't have one DO NOT TOUCH the unit.. you will make things worse.

I have the service manual...but first I will:

ok you say you have service manual... -= IF =- you want to try pull/connect wire harnesses back let me give you a few bits of advise...

                      1) TAKE PHOTOS of all side of that board BEFORE pulling even one harness

                      2) take a Sharpie and mark ALL open connectors on the board

                      3) be VERY CAREFUL when pulling/reinstalling the FCC's (flat cable connections) if you bugger one of the lans on the cable you are SCREWED. Some have black slides that lock the cable in place... MAKE SURE you insert the cable STRAIGHT into the connector.

                      4) get an anti-static wrist band and hook it to the METAL FRAME of the unit and to your wrist... I also touch the frame any time I shift my body ( static ) or moving to push harness out of the way. ( boards are HIGH $$$ and can be damaged due to static electricity VERY EASILY!!

good luck..take it slow...measure twice, cut once.
