What Information Can Be Tracked By PCAM?
Answer :
PCAM (Paper Content Access Management) embeds code on scanned documents that allow for tracking information.
To enable PCAM, the Optional Document Scan Lock Kit must be installed.

The following information can be embedded and tracked by PCAM:
1. Who made the copy can be tracked by embedding the ID/User Name on the copy.
2. When the copy was made can be tracked by embedding the Date and Time on the copy.
3. Where the copy was made can be tracked by embedding Device Name on the copy.
Other information that can be embedded are:
Serial Number
Job Name
Job Type
The following 4 lock options can be used in conjunction with PCAM to further restrict unauthorized duplication of documents.
