Canon IPC600/700/800 Error code E012-0100

    [Error Code] Canon IPC600/700/800 Error code E012-0100

    Canon IPC600/700/800 start up with E012-0100 after warm up time. All Drum /ITB motors no turn but can turn manual easily no stuck. I take out all Drum unit, ITB for check with no problem.
    Do Everybody has experiences about this problem? Thank you!

    run motor test in service mode..start with ITB test

      With this error code, I can't run Test any motor.I tried before. Any ideal else?

        did you try the ITB test with drums out and vice versa? I know the older models you could

          Can't sir. Because Drum and develop has connector. When we take out cartridge and turn on will be error E020 or E024. I tried to do it in another case.

            It's not necessary to yell though Phill is old.


            I'm not familiar with this model but E012 on color models can be a bad drum drive pcb or only dirty encoder sensor.Use compressed air.

              I'm on mạchine now. I clean encoder of ITB , Drum Y. Event change drum drive between Y and C together, drum drive same to gether and have encoder, motor on it.
              But error code and sub code still no change E012-0100

                    I don't think that was intentional.... When I access CTN on my smartphone, sometimes the font comes back as "Yuge", and it looks similar to this.

                    ....or he was being a smart-alec.... Either way works for me...LOL!

                      Thanks all of you !.The reason is Drum Y,M,C motor fault. I don't know how because motor's usually very difficult damage. Wait for replace new motor ass'

                        I doubt about diagnosis. Probably will be a power supply or a main controller.
