I am sorry to use French language, I want to say that I have the sst. I am French canon tech and my English is not good I try to translate the last post French to English but the translate is not OK and I send it unknown. So I need the system for this copier if some one has it. My thanks for all.

With the machine off, turn on while holding 2 and 8 down. you will get a screen that will give choices which should include a choice to repair the HDD. choose the choice for HDD repair, and allow the machine to run. This may repair the HDD enough to allow you to clone (import/export) the HDD data to your computer so when you install a new HDD you can reload all of the data. One on machine, I had to attempt this three times before i successfully had a clean restart. Use patience.

If this will not work, you can install a new Canon HDD ( I do not think you can use off-the-shelf drives unless you first load some utility), load firmware, and then reprogram all settings for network, user, and device, which takes time.
