Have a IRC2230 that jams paper coming out of #3 cassette that then jams at the #1 tray separation assembly .Paper bumps into the bottom of that plastic piece .I changed out separation assembly and it worked better , but it still jams. Hope someone has seen this before.

Does it jam when using tray 4? Try running 11x17 through tray 3, if it still jams swap pick up assembly 3/4 and see if the jam code stays the same or follows the pick up assembly. If it follows the pick up assembly I would order that. If the jam remains the same you will have to do some more checking. Gotta start somewhere........Comment
