It goes to normal warmup and ready state to make copies but the main motoris running on and off repeteadly right from start, I don't have another machine to swap boards, ah other thing is that once throwed a 733 code, (haven't done it again). The manual says that a communication error between printer board is possible, however also mentions LVPS and DC controller as possibilites, all of them very expensive items, have you run into a similar problem before'?....Customer called for a toner change only and I was very unlucky that machine started with all this once the toner was replaced...(trouble with customer).

Try cheap way
Memory_ clean ends> reseat or replace.
Also check outlet for proper constant supply and proper Ground to Netural +/- 0.0v > 0.5v max.**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.** -

HVT = high voltage (charge, transfer, bias)
LEAKAGE = high voltages shorting to ground via carbon tracking, toner buildup, or even insects dead in the wrong place
you'd be amazed how many insects i have found fried by HVT in coronas etc, they cause the high voltage to arc to ground and 'spike' the system, causing problemsComment

Re: Canon iR3025 main motor runs on and off from start
I am going to check all that, now I have disassembled the boards and toner assy to check if mechanism its turning or not, This thing is absolutely time consuming ...(and 0 $ to get from it..!!! jeezComment

Re: Canon iR3025 main motor runs on and off from start
Do you still have masage"replace toner"?Practice makes perfect
If it ain't broke, don't fix it
A picture is worth a thousand words
If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself

Re: Canon iR3025 main motor runs on and off from start
Yeah toner related,
Toner pipe clogged inside.
Strange thing didn't pop up a code though,
Problem gone.
Thanks to all of you guys.Comment
