You should have done that with the machine OFF, now turn it off again and verify the memory is properly connected. or take it out and see what happens, when the display comes to life again clean ccd and optics to correct the initial error code.

Please explain what did you clean...a flat cable tip? the CCD flat cable? or which one?.
The error was related to the white reflector in the glass (dirty) or dirty optics.

Thanks for the reply!
I did not clean any of that. I I removed the memory (RAM) and cleaned the the part that enters the slot. Is there any other area I should look into?

Hi Guys,
I'm working on a IR3300. I got an error code E000225-0000. I removed and cleaned the gold plated metal at the tip with a blank (I didn't have any alternative). After, when I turn on the machine, it runs perfectly, but the panel does not light (it does not show). Do you have any suggestions?
