    iR 6565i problem

    Greets,

I have a problem with iR 6565i, barely visible print.

Ive replaced all 3 coronas, ITB cleaner, problem remains the same.

Ive also replaced the toner unit from a working machine, problem remained the same.

Checked the developer unit, its rotating properly, so not the issue as well.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Turn off potential control, turn bias down as far as 150. My company uses generic toner but we have had new copiers with canon toner be light on set up. I was concerned this would not hold up copy quality with potential control turned off but surprisingly all my machines run fine with this setting. I use test chart #2 to check if it is dark enough. You want to be able to see the bars at the top.

That is the developer. A stirring rod breaks. They have a new style rod but I put in a new developer with the -020 at the end.
