Canon iR ADV C5045i - Printed edge of bright gray area not sharp

Hello,

I have to struggle with a Canon C5045i which prints a blurred edge on one side (left side) of a bright gray area (see picture). The other side (first printed in print direction) is completely sharp as it should be.
Would it be beneficial to adjust the black developer bias?

Hopefully you can see the blurred edge on the sample image. Unfortunately that was not easy to scan. I'm currently a little baffled which service parameters I should test first.

what have you done so far?
life on consumables?
did you even clean out the unit? ( 1st thing to do on ANY call ! )

don't start screwing with shit before you know the CAUSE of it

and frankly you haven't defined any of that yet....
