iR3570 E100-0001

I have a machine that started printing blank copies last week. I replaced the laser with a used scanner and the problem was fixed. The next day i got an E100-0001 on the machine and just figured i had pulled a bad scanner so i replaced it again with another used scanner and i ordered a new scanner to put in the machine when it arrived. The new scanner has not arrived yet and the machine just threw another E100-0001. I was going to replace the DC Controller tomorrow but would there be any other reason the machine would be going through scanners or am i just having bad luck?

As per the manual, you are correct. Replace the DC controller and check the wiring.

I would be having a look at the laser mechanism shutter. Is it operating properly? These have been known to give problems.
