c2230 not separating or offsetting pdf's from Mac

Customer has multiple Mac's running well on OS 10.13.6.
    c2230 is running DC-Con v29.01 / MN--Cont v56.04
    UFRII driver v10.17.0

Problem happens on the 2 Macs that I've checked. Microsoft office files run with no problems.

When printing 2 sided PDF's from full version of Acrobat or Acrobat Reader DC, sets come out collated, but strung together as one document. So if I print 2 sets of a 3 page document, page 3 of the first set will be on one side of the second sheet of paper and page 1 of the second set will be on the other side. Obviously it can't offset when that happens and it won't offset even when running single sided sets of pdf's..

Anyone see this before? Thought's? I'm thinking of trying an older UFRII driver.

Reader has problems with some PDF's...
Frankly it sounds more like SETTINGS in the file or the driver...
have you tried going to a PCL5 style driver? ( most stable I've seen on PDF;s)

It happened with the full version of Acrobat Distiller so I had them download Reader DC and it still did it. Customer tried multiple pdf files too... same thing.

This machine doesn't have PS or PCL option so I can't try those drivers.

        wow... umm i tried...

to coin a phrase.. " Ooo I do believe you might be fuuucked!"

have you tried setting up a laptop import those files and print to C2230 to rule out Canon hardware?

        might just be MAC related

        did I mention? I HATE MAC's !!!!!!

Can you please scan and attach a printout?
I work only with Mac, and had never seen such a Prolbem before.
PCL does not work on Mac, only PS or UFR.

I don't think posting a scan would help. There isn't a quality problem and if I scan in the printed pages, it'll just show single pages in a pdf file.

The problem is that multiple sets are printed as one long document. If I print 10 2-sided sets of a 3 page document, I get 15 2 sided sheets with no blank pages anywhere.

              Deduction :

              - Works on Windows not on MAC - rules out Printer hardware
              - Doesn't work on other Acrobat Reader - Rules out application

              So it's MAC/MAC Driver related...

              I'd start tying other driver...

btw do you print directly to the printer or does the user have a server-printqueue set up ?

Customer doesn't have any Windows PC's, only Macs running MS Office and Adobe programs....but no problems printing from Office.

Small peer-to-peer office. all computers print directly to c2230.

Haven't made it back to try another driver yet.....I will later today or Monday. Not a huge problem for customer at the moment but needs to be fixed sometime soon.
