you can remove the hard drive and see if a pc will see it, then run Chkdsk x: /f (x is drive letter)

you might have several partition on the drive i think 10, if it does detect the drive.

if not then you have to replace the drive and use a SST program to install OS and firmware

update the firmware, as far as i am aware this doesnt have a hdd, just a flash Rom, you will need a usb/printer cable
