Can anyone help me with this? I am getting an error code E000007-0003 on my Canon Image Press C1. I'm completely shut down right now and I have work I need to get out ASAP. Please help!!
It sounds like you are an end user not a tech? I would recommend calling a qualified service rep. That is related to the fixing belt and could be caused by a number of things including worn parts and/or pcb failure.
Is the glass half full or half empty? I say neither. The glass is obviously full, full of potential. The potential to hold more water or the potential to quench a thirst. Life is all about how you see it.
I agree with 20yrsexp .. E007 fixing belt related, usually requiring fixing belt or unit replacment.. Its codes like this that makes the customer glad they have a service contract
A contract would definitely be a good suggestion, live and learn. Thats really not a machine you want to tinker with on your own.

Thanks everyone for your help. We do have a service contract & they came out and fixed the problem this morning. We called yesterday and no one got back to us within the few hours they normally do. I was very concerned about the machine being completely shut down with no response. I wanted to know what the problem was so I could determine how long I may possibly be down after they came in to diagnose it.
For those that are curious it was a roller out of alignment. We also happened to need a partial kit install/update. (Just a coincidence.) It took about 4 hours to fix. Thanks again!
The belt usually goes out due to bearings wearing and causing uneven pressure. It sounds like the parts they put in were related to that, if it happens in the near future you may want to question them about that. good luck.
