    Canon Iradv 4235 dead Copier

    Ir advance 4235 when powered on , no display ,no motors, only power on Led and energy saver Green Led on. Any clue?

      take it out of energy saving mode?
      how many pages on it?
      what has been done to it?
      did you have a power surge/problem?
      do you have SM for the machine?
      are you a tech?

      you haven't given us anything to diagnose with

              Well most common probably is the HDD..

                          Boot System Error Diagnosis Tool --------Turn ON the Main Power Supply Switch while pressing the Control Panel Power SupplySwitch.


                          This tool automatically checks the Control Panel, Main Controller PCB 1, All-night PowerSupply, and Non-all-night Power Supply, and notifies the result by the number of light-out andblinking interval of the lamp on the Control Panel.This tool is installed in the ROM of Main Controller PCB 1.

                          Controller System Error Diagnosis Tool----------Turn ON the Main Power Supply Switch while pressing the numeric keys '2' and '4'simultaneously.

                          This tool automatically checks the Main Controller PCB 1/2, child PCBs mounted on the MainController PCB 1/2, and HDD, and display the result on the Control Panel.This tool is installed in HDD.Therefore, this tool cannot be used when an error occurred in HDD or HDD cannot beaccessed.
