go into service mode, copier - option - user - set counter to 101

You should use counter 102 instead. Counter 101 only tells you the number of pieces of paper that have gone through ....102 adds a "double-click" count for 11x17 pages. All your consumables volumes are based on 8 1/2 x 11 (A4) pages that print out, but 11 x 17 (A3) should count as two pages.

If it were a color machine, I would set meters to 102, 109 (B&W) and 124 (Color), to make sure we were getting compensated for the proper amount of toner used and wear on consumables.
