    Canon 775 scan error

Scan to e-mail not going through , checked SMTP settings and set to Gmail IP address vs SMTP.gmail.com

This unit was working in a different environment with a different g-mail email .

In the new environment the customer has it connected to a wireless repeater with a hard cable going from the back of the repeater to the copier.
We can print and web into interface .

Not sure what the Dreaded SM1 issue is . I forgot to mention it is a C5045 , It was working in one environment but our customer upgraded and sold there unit to another person who called us to assist with connecting the unit. We set up a generic Gmail account so I know the e-mail and password is correct. The unit was on a Gmail account to begin with in the first environment.
if there is a known issue please let me know. looking to turn on the function so the machine recognizes a thumb drive so we can scan that way if need be .

I think he was referring to the SMB1 issue, which doesn't apply here.

I've had Gmail issues where I had to default the machine to DNS settings 8.8.8.8 primary and 8.8.4.4 secondary before it would work. Maybe their network DNS settings aren't recognizing Gmail's servers?
