Canon ImagePress C1+ scanner?

Hi!

I have a Canon C1 which has a scanner onboard. Now I have bought a C1+ but it doesn't have the scanner. Is it possible to move the scanner system from C1 to C1+ and what would it take apart from physically moving the components to the other copier?

I believe it was. It has all the connectors for scanner as my C1, but I guess the problem would be the software side...

Is that the Color Image Reader H1 ?
U will need to get into service mode after it's connection to set Scanner to "1" I believe.

Power off>on to set. Check firmware print out listings.

Firmware print out should have R-CON listed

W/SCNR =Set the presence/absence of the reader for the copy model.


Setting range
0: Printer model (without a scanner)
1: Model with a scanner

Standard value
0
The setting value becomes valid after the main power switch is turned OFF/ON.
