have one that reacts very slow or not at all, for instance when i press duplex it could take 30 seconds to get to the secondary duplex screen, or it might not react at all. usually when i pressreset it clears, but not always. i am going to order a new touch screen panel and try that. from everything i've read that is by far the most likely to be my problem. screen itself lights up but has some black lines top to bottom. and it does usually work although slowly. am i on the right track canon guys? thanks--tuey

Re: IR3300 DISPLAY PROBLEMS
Sounds like you are on the right track! While you are waiting, you might clean the operation panel underneath the edges of the upper cover, around the LCD. You can use a business card to run around the edges. Sometimes food/dirt/paper/etc gets caught up in those edges and will push a part of the LCD, which makes it so you cannot push another part. -
Re: IR3300 DISPLAY PROBLEMS
If you start seeing the control panel "Hang" like that again, try removing the Network cable and see if the issue doesn't clear up. Canon's are notorious for not LIKING "Power Over Ethernet", and if they have POE running to that network jack, it'll hang up the control panel, and even fry the Control Panel PCB.
If their IT people can't remove the power from that Ethernet port so it's just receiving data only, you can create a Cat5 Cable with only lines 1,2,3 and 6 connected.Comment
