Canon IR2018 Paper not Correct

I'm working on an IR2018. During copying, there has been continuous error of paper jam. Whenever the jam occurs, there is a message of: "Paper not correct. Change paper". It results in the copy appearing blank halfway I've tried resetting the cassette to different paper sizes but it happens the same way. I have changed the registration clutch, but that too does not work. Does anyone have an idea of what else I should check? I will appreciate your kind suggestions.

open the cover and see the distance of the scanner it takes when making copy
you can reset the copier enter the service mode and make clear all

Hi,Thanks for the response. Yes I initially entered service mode. But it came again. I'll next check the position of the scanner as well when I get there. I'll get back with info asap.

This may be your problem. Looks a little involved getting to the gears.

Check the action of Registration Flag,

Good suspicion! I will do that when I get there today. However, I remember the paper used to go a little beyond the registration flag. It mostly stopped just about when it is about to enter the fuser before displaying "Paper not correct"

I solved the problem by prolonged registration flag.
