Canon IR2200 Will Not Ring On Incoming Faxes

Hi guys,
I have a customer that has a Canon IR2200 that will not ring on an incoming fax...(it has a dial tone when making an outgoing fax .
Is there an switch that needs to be turned on in service mode?
The customer swears it used to ring...
Any ideas?

First thing I would do is bring a corded telephone in with you, and check the line. See if you can make and receive calls.

Another thing I've run into on Canons is SOMETIMES if you're using a 4-wire phone line, it does odd things. Try replacing the cable with a 2-wire cord and see what happens.
