iR2270 import LDAP addreses - what format?

Good day,

I'm trying to import address books into our Canon iR2270 using RUI. I've tried to import both formats(Custom and LDAP).

I've exported .csv and .ldif files from the Active Directory using native LDIFDE and CSVDE commands. Columns are name,mail. These files appear to import into the printer (no errors) but they actually don't populate. I've tried rebooting the printer and it made no difference.

I've removed the DN column and the headers from the .csv files before importing from RUI, but no luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions about a different format or method I could use to get the job done?

If your settings are right it should import LDAP pretty much on it's own. I did this once on a iRC5185 and it seems to me that the IT admin. and I resolved to an IP address for the LDAP server. Just make sure your pointing the copier in the right direction. Hope this helps.
