    [Error Code] ir3045

    Dear/ CopyTechTeam,


    I face a problem with canon ir 3045 that works good when makes one side but the problem appears when makes two sides it stops opertation without display any jam and the


    screen appears that printing without any thing the error code 240 , error 732

      Have you re-seated the ribbon cable?

          E240 error (communication error between the main controller and DC controller) has
          occurred, the drive system may still continue operating.

          E732 There is an error in the communication with the scanner.

          Sub code 0001 There is a DDI-S communication error.

          1. Check the connector used to connect the scanner.
          2. Check the power supply of the scanner (to see if initialization takes place at
          startup).
          3. Replace the reader controller, scanner board, or main board as necessary.

          Sub Code 0010 Fault in detection of DDI-S Vsync signal

          Sub Code 9999 A scanner is first detected from the printer model. (Not an error code but only the message 'Turn the main power switch OFF&ON again' is displayed on the
          users screen.

          The error is recorded in service mode > DISPLAY > ERR. Turn the main power switch off/on



          First thing I would do is remove the rear cover and reseat ALL the connections on the Main Board, Reader Controller and Scanner Board. Test operation and if it continues failing, start by replacing Main Controller.

              many thanks for your reply i reseat all the connections on the dc controller ,main controller but the error appears again

                  Try replace new Drum unit or good one

                      Sounds for me, if the Power Supply for the Reader is gone
                      Check in that Direction

                          Try replacing duplex motor. I've solved same problem with duplex motor.
                          Sometime it was showing 733 too.
