ImagePress 1135 that has been mechanically upgraded in most respects to an 1135+, with an ImagePass J100 Fiery.
The following options are installed on the machine:
Saddle Finisher AK2 << more on this later!
Pod Deck C1
2/3 hole inner puncher
Pro Punch B1
Color Image Reader L1
The challenge: About a month ago the AF2 Saddle Finisher was replaced by the newer AK2 unit. It was recognized by the system on powerup and worked immediately, and flawlessly, for over a month; producing half a million copies and thousands of booklets and stapled sets.
Suddenly the fiery stopped recognizing the AK2 (screen capture of Command Workstation config screen attached); The 1135 internal UI and remote UI identifies everything correctly (remote UI screenshot attached). The printer drivers still see the finisher as an AF2 (screen capture attached), and SOMETIMES we can use the finisher if we do all the settings in the print driver before sending it over to the fiery.
My tech has reloaded software on the fiery, updated/rolled back firmware, and replaced cables and terminators. I'm reaching out here to see if anyone else has ideas we might not have thought of...thank you in advance!
