canon c3530i airprint wierd issues...

I turned on airprint and appletalk on the copier...
I was able to print from ipad but not from iphone...
other than turning on airprint and appletalk
is there any other settings that I can change...
should I turn on ipv6 settings???
what I saw on the phone was it could see the printer but said it was offline...???

I was checking through the userguide and it answered a lot of questions but nothing on this issue...
ok it does tell you what should be turned on... even so still checking if there are any bulletins on airprint from canon with any wierd gotchas...
