The vertical path is a photosensor there's no flag sensor there

right, sorry thinking of another issue.

Is issue from running paper out of Right Deck ????
              or
              from cassette 3 or 4 ???

Try replacing the bushings on the vertical path rollers with bearings .
There are two sizes of bearings used. For the front (XG9-0709-000) and for the rear (XG9-0466-000)

Check that the wiring harness that goes from the feed assembly to the Feed Driver PCB is not damaged.
              if so >>Replace the harness ( FM4-1035-000 )

              also
              Try replacing PS24 .
              PS24 is the Vertical Path Sensor 1, and can be checked in I/O mode > P-Sensor > DCCON > P012 - 8 > 1=Paper present.
Also, check the wire harness & connection that goes to PS24.

              PS24 part number is FK2-6470-000
Sensor cable harness part number is FM4-1001-000
