iR3570 Scan and Send question

Hello there.

I'm using the scan and send functionality...not sure is if this is normal or can be modified...but if i scan 50 pages it sends an email with 50 PDF attachments...can it send in one PDF file?

Yes it will send as one file. Whoat is happening is the size limit is being exceeded and it sends separate files. I think if you go under add functions sys settings comm settings there should be an area you can increase the file size. If you set it to zero then it uses the maximum that is set on the network. It is probably defaulted to 3 meg right now or less.

Thks for the quick response...yes it's set to 3mb as default...the total size of the multiple attachments was only 1mb though...i set it to 0 and it still sends the multiple attachments.

Any other ideas?

Under "Additional Functions", choose "Communications Settings", then choose "TX Settings",go to page 3(?) and select "Edit Standard Send Settings", and undo the "Divide into Pages" selection.

Had that same issue with a client, except divide into pages did not do the trick for my situation. It works though! But in my case, what 11x17 mention did the trick. two good troubleshooting techniques.
